Medical Detoxification

Medical detox at JPZ Healing Services typically lasts 3 to 7 days, depending on the substance and individual factors. Our 24/7 medical team in Santa Ana monitors your progress and adjusts treatment as needed to ensure a safe, comfortable withdrawal process.

Why Medical Supervision Matters

Withdrawal from substances like alcohol, opioids, and benzodiazepines can be dangerous—even life-threatening—without proper medical oversight. At our treatment center, board-certified physicians use medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to manage symptoms, reduce cravings, and prevent complications.

Outpatient Programs (PHP & IOP)

JPZ Healing Services offers Partial Hospitalization (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient (IOP) programs that provide structured treatment while allowing patients to return home each evening. These programs are available at our Santa Ana center and serve as step-down care from residential treatment or as a primary treatment option.

Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)

PHP at JPZ Healing Services runs 2 to 4 weeks, with patients attending the facility 5 days per week for 5–6 hours daily. This level of care is ideal for patients who need intensive support but have stable housing and a safe home environment.

Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)

Our IOP runs 8 to 12 weeks, meeting 3 days per week for 3 hours per session. This flexible format enables patients to maintain work, school, or family responsibilities while receiving structured addiction treatment at our facility.

Standard Outpatient

For patients completing IOP who benefit from continued support, standard outpatient involves weekly individual and group sessions to reinforce recovery skills and prevent relapse.

Our integrated approach in Santa Ana treats the whole person.

What Is Dual Diagnosis?

Dual diagnosis refers to the co-occurrence of a substance use disorder and a mental health condition. Common co-occurring disorders include depression, anxiety, PTSD, bipolar disorder, and personality disorders. At JPZ Healing Services, our psychiatric team works alongside addiction specialists to create unified treatment plans.
